The Stony Stratford Mummers raised over £600 for local and international charities this Christmas.

This winter, the Mummers have performed at five events and two processions, and given over 25 performances.

After covering our costs, the collections we receive are donated to two charities, chosen each year – one international and one local.

This year, £300 was donated to the UNICEF Syria Appeal (which is matched by the UK Government), and £300 was donated to Brains Trust, to support the fundraising effort for Kat Charles (known as #KatsCure), a local woman who is suffering from an aggressive brain tumour called a Glioblastoma.

The Mummers will be back on the streets of North Buckinghamshire soon – keep your eyes out for further information!
